Short version: Auto Refresh & URL Rotator collects nothing. There are no servers,
no analytics, and no tracking. Everything you enter stays inside your own browser.
What the extension stores
To remember your preferences between sessions, the extension saves the following in your browser's
local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device only:
The list of URLs you type into Rotate mode
Your interval, selected mode, and option toggles (loop, reuse-tab, hard reload, keyboard shortcuts)
A local counter used only to occasionally show an in-popup "enjoying this?" prompt
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to the developer or any third party.
What the extension does NOT do
No accounts, sign-in, or personal information
No analytics, telemetry, cookies, or fingerprinting
No external servers — the developer operates none
No reading, scraping, or modifying of page content; it only opens and reloads the URLs you choose
No selling or sharing of any data, because none is collected
Permissions and why they're needed
tabs / activeTab — to open your URLs and reload the tab you select.
storage — to remember your settings locally.
background — to keep the timer running while the popup is closed.
notifications — to tell you when a cycle finishes or a target tab was closed.
Third-party links
The popup and this site link to optional support pages (PayPal, Buy Me a Coffee) and an email
feedback address. Visiting those is entirely your choice and is governed by those services' own
privacy policies.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes
will be reflected in the extension's listing.
