Claude Auto Pinger keeps your Claude AI session window warm by sending a tiny keep-alive ping in the background. Smart-skip, a custom schedule, and a live usage dashboard — so a fresh window is always ready when you are.
Safe-start by design — it never opens tabs silently. You click once, it takes over.
Add the extension and make sure you're signed in to claude.ai with a Pro or Max plan in the same profile.
A safe-start diagnostic checks your sign-in and plan, reads your session reset time, and warns you clearly if anything's off.
Every ping opens a hidden tab, picks Haiku 4.5, sends a quick "Hello", restores your model, and closes the tab.
The next ping is queued for ~5 hours later (or your custom schedule). Alarms survive browser restarts.
Built for power users who live in Claude all day.
A lightweight ping every 5 hours keeps your window warm. Runs silently and survives Chrome restarts.
Already in an active session? The scheduled ping is skipped so you never burn a redundant window.
Click hours on a 24-hour grid to ping at exact times. Presets for every 6 h, every 8 h, or overnight at 3 AM.
Session % and weekly % with color-coded bars (yellow at 60%, red at 80%) and the reset date.
See exactly when the next ping fires, down to the second, right in the popup.
Never auto-starts. Verifies sign-in and Pro/Max, and detects Free plans with a clear message.
Run Now, Pause, Resume, and Refresh whenever you want. Run Now can't double-fire mid-ping.
A bright dark mode and a true light mode, toggled from the popup header. Your choice is remembered.

Yes. Claude Auto Pinger requires a Claude Pro or Max plan. claude.ai redirects Free accounts away from the usage page, so the extension detects Free plans automatically and tells you clearly.
The extension is completely free and ad-free, and it collects zero data.
It never reads your Claude conversations and sends nothing to external servers. Session timing, usage
percentages, and settings are stored locally via chrome.storage.local.
When a ping fires, the extension opens a hidden claude.ai tab, switches to the smallest
model (Haiku 4.5), sends a short greeting, restores your previously selected model,
and closes the tab — so your Opus/Sonnet default is never changed silently.
Before each scheduled ping, the extension checks whether you already have an active session. If you do, it skips the ping so it doesn't burn a redundant window. A manual Run Now always bypasses this.
Yes. In Settings, tick Custom ping schedule and click hours on the 24-hour grid (e.g.
